Internship Program

At IABT, we provide 15 hours of supervised fieldwork as part of the ABAT training requirement, ensuring learners gain hands-on experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This component is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world practice in a supervised setting. To ensure accessibility and convenience, IABT offers fieldwork in both online and offline formats, allowing learners to choose the mode that best suits their needs.

The fieldwork includes 13.5 hours of direct implementation of ABA strategies and 1.5 hours of one-to-one supervision with a qualified supervisor. During this process, learners will have opportunities to observe and actively participate in ABA sessions, along with engaging in structured activities to enhance their practical skills and competencies.

To ensure accessibility and convenience, IABT offers fieldwork in both online and offline formats, allowing learners to choose the mode that best suits their needs.

For the QABA ABAT certification examination, candidates must complete 15 hours of supervised fieldwork and should refer to the official fieldwork requirements for detailed guidelines.

Responsibilities of an Intern

Interns will participate in the following activities:

• Working alongside senior ABA therapist
• Assisting with data collection and recording
• Supporting the development of individualized education plans
• Assisting in designing customized learning programs
• Following structured instruction protocols while working with children
• Documenting case histories in the required format
